Last weeks run at Nyung Kuning by Blow Joe & Team America was an awesome affair. The afternoon started out with a ride up to the runsite in the Upacara Trucks. This was an event in, and of, itself. Next was the actual run. For Bali Hash 2 both the long and short runs were, as Blow Joe advised during the pre-run briefing, long and gnarly with the short being approximately 8KM and the long around 12KM. After the Live Hare start, the short run sheared off to the east into the rice paddies while the long run went West across the river to Bongkasa. On completion of this rare A to B run, hashers found Chili Dogs made in a tex-mex style and plenty of beer and soft drinks. Soon T-Shirts materialized and almost everyone received their Make America Grateful Again run shirt. For the few who did not get a shirt we really apologize that we ran short, the turnout was more than planned.
This weeks run is the Annual Bastille Day Run and will be held in Pura Taman Pule in Mas, Ubud. It’s just about 10 or 15 minutes South of central Ubud on the main road that runs past the Baby Statue in Batuan, Sukawati. Please check the map below or click on the GPS link for Google Maps.

For first time runners of a Hash Bali Hash House Harriers 2 is a great way to get into the spirit of the runs. You will find we are very welcoming to new runners and people will go out of their way to assist and give guidance to “Virgins”.
